    A method is presented for computing the probability of failure of structural members exposed to spectrum loading conditions and subjected to periodic inspections.

    The output is failure probability as a function of service exposure time. The effects of perturbations in the severity of service exposure and variations in inspection effectiveness and inspection period length are demonstrated.
