Source

The development of the United Kingdom’s National Testing Laboratory Accreditation Scheme is used as an example of the progress being made to effectively coordinate existing approval agencies so as to minimize the burden on laboratories being accredited while maximizing the benefits derived from accreditation schemes. Also discussed are the support required from governments and the role of the International Laboratory Accreditation Conference.
