Analysis of the Surveillance Results at Paks Nuclear Power Plant

Source

The surveillance results of the reactor pressure vessels (RPVs) at Paks Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in Hungary are summarized. The yield strength increase has relatively high scatter because of surface anomaly of the specimens. The transition temperature shifts of the weld metals for Units 1 and 2 and for Units 3 and 4 are the same. Valid RTIc could be determined only on weld metal specimens. The dose rate was not found to have any effect on the hardness.
