The ASTM G-84 time-of-wetness sensor was used to study the moisture deposition on the exterior of a large building for an autumn and a winter period. It was possible to detect the presence of all types of moisture deposition and to measure the time-of-wetness at any location on the building. The influence of such parameters as orientation, design, and temperature on the moisture deposition is discussed.
