Neutron Dosimetry Overview for LWRs

Source

Irradiation damage of materials is commonly correlated with neutron exposure. This paper describes methods and techniques typically used in commercial light water reactors to measure neutron exposure levels. The physical measurement process is described along with considerations involved in the interpretation of measurement results. Examples of typical measurement systems are provided. Lessons learned through the last five decades of experience are summarized.
