    For frictional and GRF data measurement using a multicomponent quartz piezoelectric force plate (FP), certain hardware, and recording procedures should be met to obtain accurate data acquisition, reduction, and analysis. This paper describes quartz FP data acquisition and development of a PC-AT based software/hardware system for use in gait, slip, and fall, and frictional assessment.
