The Durability of Modern Sculptures Constructed of Glass

Source

A large water fountain sculpture has been installed in a city park. The fountain incorporates glass castings whose resistance to environmental effects is not well understood. A study of the glass properties and accelerated environmental tests predict that the sculpture will remain relatively unchanged for 20 years or more.
