    Abstract

    This chapter covers spark ignition fuel commonly called gasoline and gasoline oxygenate blends. Important properties are discussed and the test methods to determine them. Discussions include why the specified properties are important to the performance of the spark ignition engine. References are made to how some of these specifications originated from regulations.
