    Abstract

    This study describes a gas blow forming process used to produce metal components from aluminum AA2017 alloy. With regards to producing an axisymmetric metal component by means of a multiphase gas blow forming process, it is possible to optimize thickness distribution in terms of thickness uniformity and obtain forming times that are suited to high volume production.
