The tightened–normal–tightened (TNT) attribute sampling scheme was devised by Calvin. This paper introduces a design methodology for TNT variable sampling schemes indexed by an entry parameter called the crossover point. A method of designing the plan based on given values of the crossover point pc and the relative slope hc is provided. A table provides plans for a given set of entry parameters, namely, pc and hc.
