ASTM C1433M was developed based on the AASHTO Standard Specifications for Highway Bridges. Unlike ASTM C1577, which denotes that the box culverts are designed according to AASHTO LRFD, C1433M does not identify that it is based on the Standard Specifications. In order to avoid any confusion, and to ensure that users of this standard understand that it is not per the AASHTO LRFD Standards, the title is being revised.
