    Rationale

The task group is submitting two items for ballot. This item is to correct the specified accuracy tolerance for the digital flow meter that is both sufficiently accurate for the test and a more reasonable specification for commercially available digital flow meters. The industry standard for working flow meters is 2%, while calibration-level flow meters are 0.5%. And is to clarify that the User will not be able to obtain the sizes smaller than the O50 using Mineral Oil due to its viscosity and tendency to adhere to the fibers. The sizes smaller than O50 can be obtained using other wetting fluids of lower surface tension and lower viscosity. It may be necessary to use two wetting fluids in order to obtain the entire opening size distribution.
