    The task group is submitting this proposed addition to the Appendix for using the Thickness Dependent Transmissivity test method for testing samples where long seating periods are specified. This method was developed in response to the industry trend for 100-hour tests. This procedure is particularly useful when there are a large number of 100-hour conformance samples to be tested for a given project or where a physically measured Transmissivity value is desired for a product that will be under compressive stress for X number of years.
