    A2.2.10 of ASTM A955 states A salt bridge consists of a flexible latex tube with an inner diameter of 3/8 in. (9.5 mm), filled with a gel. This was copied over incorrectly from the source document. The outer diameter was 3/8 in. The inner diameter was in. The exact diameter is not relevant, provided ionic conductivity is maintained. Furthermore, latex was never used-the original tests used Tygon, whereas most recent tests used PVC.
