    Rationale

    This ballot is intended to clarify the reporting section of the Standard. Since the completion of the ruggedness study by ORNL in 2014, revisions have been made to the Standard allowing a variety of stack types to be measured based on material type (see section 6.4.8 of the Standard). The standard Core Surface and Mixed stacks are not required for all materials types. Minor changes are needed to clarify the following items: 1.If qualification testing was required (not required for certain product types in the prescriptive method) 2.Section 8.1.9.1, requiring the type of stack to be reported. Since the prescriptive method was revised in 2014, there is a variety of stack types that can be measured based on product type. 3.Deletion of Table 2, since this information is not relevant to the variation of stack types that can be used under the prescriptive approach. 4.Section 8.1.10, containing information about the precision and bias statement. This can be updated since the ruggedness study data has been added to the P&B section.
