    Rationale

    E606 was submitted for a re-approval ballot that closed September 23, 2018 with a persuasive negative. This work item will address proposed changes to the description of allowable waveforms as specified in sections 8.4, 8.5, Note 23, and Note 5. It was noted some users of E606 choose between triangular or sine waveforms without appreciation of strain rate effects.
