The transport of cannabis must be conducted with meticulous security to prevent potential diversion and maintain the integrity of the products being delivered. Transportation security shall cover the critical security elements involved in the transportation of cannabis. The security requires the identification and implementation of strategies to mitigate risk, maximize employee and public safety and ensure the safe transportation and includes the delivery of all cannabis, cannabis plants, cannabis products (subsequently defined as cannabis in any of its forms) and currency.
