    Rationale

    Improvements in chemistry control and processing have resulted in consistent improvements in low temperature impact properties. Many current customer requirements specify impact values higher then those detailed in table 1. This revision includes for supplementary options for higher impacts of 44/33ft-lbf at -51 F (the standard test temperature) and for the standard impacts of 15/12ft-lbf at a lower temperature of -105 F
