    During the D02.03 (SC-03) subcommittee combustion sub-group meeting (held in Boston, MA) correspondence from an SC-03 member was discussed. At issue was the subsection 11.5 procedural requirement that the density of the test specimen be determined at the temperature at which the sample was tested. It was pointed out that many/most labs use D4052- Density, Relative Density, and API Gravity of Liquids by Digital Density Meter to determine sample density at a standard temperature of 15 C (59 F) and that test sample temperatures where typically at lab temperature 23 C ( 73 F).
