    1. Scope

    1.1This test method determines the integrity of the short term seam peel strength for high density polyethylene (HDPE), and polypropylene (PP) geocells under defined conditions of temperature and machine speed. The test method presents the procedures used for determining the quality of ultrasonically welded seams only. 1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard and other units do not invalidate the test. The values given in parentheses are for information only. 1.3This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
