    Rationale

    The ICP method will be referenced in the guide for baseline sampling of drinking water wells, however it is missing some non-metals. The revision will add Ba, Ca, K, Li, Na, P, S, SiO2 and Sr, making it more useful for base line sampling prior to hydraulic fracturing, oil and gas exploration, and during production, closure and reclamation.
