    1. Scope

    1. Scope 1.1 To provide measurable and process-based elements of assessment which can be utilized to characterize the performance of flashing assemblies as they relate to the systems durable properties. This guide will outline the gate-to-grave aspects of the life-cycle including the initial physical properties, in-service physical property after installation and repairability. This guide outlines the Design, Materials, Installation and Maintenance to make a flashing assembly and optimize its durability. 1.2 The values of SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard. Energy must be expressed in megajoules (MJ) and Mass must be expressed in kilograms (kg).
