1.Use the word estimated to emphasize that continuous grade is an estimation not an exact value. 2.Simplified section 4.1 to improve clarity. 3.Removed some extraneous wording from section 6.1. 4.Added section 6.2.2 to emphasize the fact that the procedure is based on interpolation and not extrapolation. Frank asked if we could extrapolate slightly above and below the bracketing temperatures but after looking at some data I decided that it was not a good idea. Basically, defining how much extrapolation is allowed would be a difficult to define in the procedure. 5.Eliminated some of the plots in the appendix and replace the sample problems with table 1 shown in the attached file. I need to do a little tweaking on this file but this time the spreadsheet includes a column that indicates why the data are insufficient to generate continuous temperatures. I need to add some more examples which better illustrate the different types of errors.
