ASTM WK41872

Reinstatement of D4034 - 92 Standard Test Method for Resistance to Yarn Slippage at the Sewn Seam in Woven Upholstery Fabrics (Withdrawn 2001)

    (What is a Work Item?)

Developed by Subcommittee: D13.59 | Committee D13 | Contact Staff Manager

ASTM Test Method D4034 previously was under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee D13.59 on Fabric Test Methods, General. Members of D13.59 request that D4034 be reinstated because it is still used throughout the woven upholstery fabrics industry. Precision and bias statements have been added as well as revisions to update the test method. Once approved, the definitions from the terms in Section 3 will be removed to comply with the D13 terminology policy.
