ASTM WK21626

Withdrawal of F2234 - 08 Standard Specification for Spill Resistant Fueling Systems for Portable Fuel Containers for Consumer Use

    (What is a Work Item?)

Developed by Subcommittee: F15.10 | Committee F15 | Contact Staff Manager

This standard is being balloted for withdrawal with no replacement because: Beginning January 1, 2009, the national Environmental Protection agency (EPA) will implement a new, and more strenuous emission regulation for all PFCs nationwide. By law, all PFCs for sale domestically will be required to meet this regulation. In addition to this, CARB will continue to require certification to their state emission standards.
