ASTM WK15322

    Revision of C1077 - 06a Standard Practice for Laboratories Testing Concrete and Concrete Aggregates for Use in Construction and Criteria for Laboratory Evaluation

    (What is a Work Item?)

    Active Standard: C1077 - 17

    Developed by Subcommittee: C09.98 | Committee C09 | Contact Staff Manager

    WK15322

    Keywords

    aggregates; concrete; criteria; evaluation; laboratory; quality assurance (QA); testing;

    Rationale

    The test records are confidential between a client and the laboratory/engineer and should remain such. These records should be stored and maintained in a secure and confidential location for the required retention period. Calibration records, training records, and other records required by C1077 and are not confidential and should not be required to be maintained as confidential records. The new note is proposed to inform the laboratory that, although a minimum retention period of three years is required, the laboratory might find it beneficial to store records for a longer period.
