Research Report RR:D31-1018
The precision of test method D7819 is based on an interlaboratory study of WK28573, Standard Test Method for the Enumeration of Yeast and Mold on Fresh (uncured) Hides and Skins, conducted in 2010. Two laboratories participated in this study. Each of the two labs reported seven replicate test results for both the number of colony forming units per gram, and the Log yeast and mold, of a single uncured hide material. Every test result reported represents an individual determination. Except for the use of only two laboratories, and a single material, Practice E 691 was followed for the design and analysis of the data; the details are given in ASTM Research Report No. D31-1018.
