    1. Scope

    1.1 This test method is used to thermally reduce a road oil or a semisolid asphalt having a penetration greater than 100 to a residue of specified penetration.

    1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The Si units given in parentheses are for information only.
