Committee D36 on Recovered Carbon Black (rCB)

ASTM Committee D36 on Recovered Carbon Black (rCB) was formed in 2017 to develop standards for rCB and its processes. The activities are focused on meeting the needs of the rCB industry addressing quality and safety through the development of voluntary consensus standards. Subcommittees will focus on the development of test methods, practices, terminiology, and guides. The Committee meets two times a year, with about 40 members attending 1 day of technical meetings in June and December. D36 has 4 technical subcommittees to develop and maintain standards. The Committee, with a membership of 106, has its standards published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 09.01.
