Award Nominations Sought
Nominations are due Sept. 28 for the Margaret Dana Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to voluntary consumer product standards development by individuals who may or may not be ASTM International members. Nominations are currently being sought for ASTM International’s Professor of the Year Award, which recognizes and rewards the contributions of educators in developing students’ understanding of standards. Award candidates include professors and instructors at accredited universities worldwide who have demonstrated outstanding use of ASTM standards in their teaching. Guidelines, a nomination form and a form for references are available online at www.astm.org/studentmember/Professor_Year and are due Aug. 31.
