On Nov. 13, 2013, three delegates from Badan Standardisasi Nasional, the national standards body of Indonesia, met with ASTM International staff at ASTM’s Washington, D.C., office to discuss revisions to the ASTM-BSN memorandum of understanding, which was originally signed in 2004. The discussion focused on issues related to BSN’s adoption of ASTM standards. Following the meeting, the delegation traveled to the ASTM November 2013 committee week meetings in Jacksonville, Fla., to observe ASTM technical committee operations and the ASTM standards development process in action.
