The cut-off for preregistration is Wednesday, November 9, 2016. After this date, please register on-site at the ASTM Registration Desk at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.
All meetings will be held at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, 6677 Sea Harbor Drive, Orlando, Florida, 32821. Reservations may be made via our online reservation system at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld Reservations.

OVERFLOW HOTEL INFORMATION
The Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld is sold-out on certain nights during the November Committee Week. Limited overflow accommodations have been secured with the Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld located at 11000 Westwood Blvd, Orlando, FL 32821, approximately a 15 minute walk to the Renaissance. The rate is $174, plus tax. Group rate will be honored until the ASTM block is full, but no later than October 12th, 2016. You may be charged a higher rate if reservations are received after the cut-off date, or when the block is full. The hotel requires a credit card to guarantee your reservation; once submitted, a confirmation number will be provided electronically. The Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld is providing complimentary shuttle service to and from the Renaissance beginning at 4:00pm on Sunday. The Residence Inn also offers complimentary Wi-Fi, parking, and breakfast. The Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld has a limited number of rooms at the government per diem rate. Reservations may be made via our online reservation system at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld Government Reservations. You must present your ID at the front desk upon check-in.
IMPORTANT! ASTM Rates are non-commissionable. If you book your reservation through a travel agent, they must ask for a non-commissioned ASTM Group Rate. ASTM cannot adjust your higher rate if commissions were paid to a travel agency.
CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY: At the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, notice of cancellation must be received 3 days prior to day of arrival in order to avoid a charge.
INTERNET: With the ASTM Group Rate basic internet access is provided in the guest's hotel room. There is an additional charge of $4.00 to utilize the Enhanced High Speed Internet in their room.
ASTM MEMBERS WORK AREA: ASTM will provide computers with internet connections. This area will also be wireless for your laptop computer. You may visit the ASTM website, apply or renew your membership, order publications or check your email. The complimentary wireless service is limited to the members' work area and the meeting rooms.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE: Shuttle transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport is available for a fee by Mears Transportation Group.Reservations are required. PARKING: With the ASTM group rate guest save 50% off of self parking. The hotel provides valet parking at a cost of $32 daily while on-site parking has a cost of $22 daily.
ASTM TRAINING SESSIONS
ASTM staff will provide several education sessions on various subjects to educate and assist officers, members and non-members of ASTM committees. The following topics will be discussed:
International Participant Orientation (Tuesday) 7:00am - 8:00am
Meeting attendees are cordially invited to a special welcome and orientation session centered on international participants. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other international meeting participants, including ASTM Chairman of the Board Ralph Paroli, PhD. This session will provide a very brief introduction to ASTM, its activities, process, electronic tools and international outreach that connect you to ASTM's global network of experts and information. There will also be ample time to ask any questions. Facilitated by ASTM staff, this session provides new and experienced international members and visitors a chance to connect at the beginning of the Committee Week.
Developing and Revising an ASTM Standard (Tuesday) 12:00pm - 1:00pm
During this joint Technical Committee Operations and Editorial module, we will review both new and revised standards as they go through the development and publication process. We will cover how standard ideas are introduced, drafted, and publicized as well as review ASTM's electronic tools and time-tested techniques for accelerating the development of your standard. Included in the workshop will be a brief review of work items registration, the three stages of balloting, and an explanation of the key roles of your editor and the standard's technical contact.
ASTM Online Tools (Wednesday) 12:00pm - 1:00pm
This module is designed to provide information about the vast array of tools available on the ASTM website that facilitates worldwide participation in the ASTM standard development process. The module will provide information on registering work items, collaboration areas, submitting ballot items and meeting preparation. This session will also showcase the administrative tools that simplify member participation.
Workshop: Introduction to the Interlaboratory Study Program (ILS)
Monday, 12:00pm - 1:00pm
This module is designed to familiarize members with the ILS Program, its features, benefits, capabilities, and the online registration process. Research Reports will also be specifically addressed during the session. This workshop will benefit anyone planning to run (or participate in) an interlaboratory study to generate a precision statement for a new or existing ASTM test method. Presented by Phillip Godorov and Caitlin Farrell, ASTM ILS Staff.
In addition to the ILS Workshop schedule above, several ILS Q&A Sessions have been planned with ASTM ILS Staff. Please feel free to drop by and ask questions about, or brainstorm ideas for, your upcoming interlaboratory studies. ILS Representatives will also be available to review the status of your current interlaboratory studies and help you plan the next steps. Sessions are open to all, and no appointments are needed.

COMMITTEE ACTIVITY FEES
Several ASTM committees collect a voluntary fee to support activities associated within the committee such as awards, social events, etc. Each committee determines the amount and encourages your contribution. The activity fee can be paid online in advance on the preregistration page. This voluntary contribution is not an ASTM International society fee.
Several committees hold planned banquet events. You have the ability to purchase your tickets online in advance on the preregistration page. Your tickets will be available on-site at the Registration Area.
COMPLIMENTARY SUPPORT SERVICES
ASTM meetings offer on-site services from the ASTM staff. We provide photocopying service, audio/visual equipment, and a members' work area with complimentary internet computers. We also have an editor on-site to assist you with the form and style of standards, editorial changes and first drafts of standards.
Join us for coffee and breakfast pastries Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld. Attendees have the option to determine their dress at ASTM meetings. Business casual attire is acceptable at this meeting and appropriate for Orlando. The average temperatures in November range from a high of 78 degrees Fahrenheit to a low of 76 degrees Fahrenheit.
Please advise the hotel and ASTM of any disability which will require special attention. The Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld is in compliance with ADA standards.
