Submitting a Proposal
As with any publisher, a publication project is initiated by the author with a book proposal. Each proposal is given full consideration by our staff.

Proposals should cover:

• Authorship – provide your qualifications. This will add credibility to the publication. You can write the book yourself. Or be the project editor and solicit contributed chapters from other experts.

• Scope – explain the topic, purpose, and uniqueness of the proposed publication.

• Table of Contents – list topics covered and organization of materials.

• Schedule – project the start up and completion dates.

• Manuscript Details – estimate the number of double-spaced pages, tables, line drawings, and photographs.

• Special Features – describe any special format or production needs essential for the project, e.g., extensive mathematical equations, color, inclusion of software, etc.

• Marketability – explain what unique approach or content makes your book appealing.

• Audience – specify the primary and secondary readers.

• Strengths – identify the strengths your book will have over others. List any competing books.
