    1. Scope

    1.1 This specification covers requirements and test methods for a nominal 250-mm (10-in.) diameter composite fluid transfer pipe with a operation pressure of 1700 kPa (250 psi). The pipe wall is a composite of three layers fused together. Joints may be mechanical or electro-fused. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only. 1.3 The following safety hazard caveat pertains only to the test methods portion Section 9 of this specification. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.

    This is a new pipe type intended for industrial or oil and gas wastewater transfer. It includes design features that permit disassembly, movement, or relocation and reuse.
