1. Scope
1.1 This specification defines acceptable parameters and methodology for determining target properties of a surrogate silica-based sediment used to measure particle removal efficiencies of stormwater treatment devices.
There currently exists no standard specification for test materials, resulting in variation from one test to another, reducing comparability of the results. Standard materials used in testing products will benefit both developers and users of these products.
