1. Scope
Create a standard practice(s) for use in laboratories that design bituminous mixtures using chemical warm mix additives.
Many new warm mixture additives are being created and added to asphalt binders and asphalt mixture. A Standard practice is needed to bring some uniformity to how laboratories introduce these additives in the mix design stage for sample preparation.
