1. Scope
Establish a suitable test method for the evaluation, verification, and reporting of functional resistance to eyewear fogging for players of sports minimizing and/or reducing the risk of injury.
There are a high number of eye injuries that are a result of users removing eye protection due to fogging. The proposed standard would establish a test method for manufacturers and quality personnel to measure fogging.
