1. Scope
Identification and organization of criteria to be used for the selection of membranes suitable for Vegetative (Green) roof systems. Existing membrane standards provide a critical foundation for waterproofing performance. This standard refines and/or augments that information with respect to issues unique to service as part of a Vegetative (Green) roof system.
As Vegetative (Green) roof systems create unique situations, beyond what is typical for roof waterproofing. Selection criteria will be useful to designers of Vegetative (green) roof systems.
