Industrial Hygiene Standards and Safety Standards

ASTM's industrial hygiene and safety standards specify the materials and detail the test methods that are relevant in recognizing, assessing, and controlling the physical, chemical, and environmental hazards involved in the workplace that could disrupt worker's health and well-being. These standards include guides for the proper handling, transportation, and storage of specified substances and equipment, and specifications for proper protective clothing, workplace ergonomics, and ventilation design.
