1. Scope
1.1 This specification covers fabrication details for fixed, vertical, steel ladders for personnel access on ships.
1.2 Nonferrous ladders and special-purpose ladders are excluded from this specification.
1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard.
