Withdrawn Rationale:

This specification establishes a National Avalanche Beacon Frequency.

This specification is being withdrawn because, in the time since its publication, avalanche beacon manufacturers have standardized on a single frequency. Given this development, the committee feels that this specification is redundant and unnecessary.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee F32 on Search and Rescue, this specification was withdrawn without replacement in June 2007.
