Significance and Use

This test method enables a comparison of variation in hardness between pancakes and allows slitter operators to adjust and maintain the desired rewinding force.

1. Scope

1.1 This test method covers the determination of variations in hardness of film ribbon pancakes.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
