This test method describes the measurement of the resistance to mechanical penetration of sanitary tissue papers. Application to other paper types is possible but is not covered here.
Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D06 on Paper and Paper Products, this test method was withdrawn in February 2011 due to lack of member support. An equivalent method exists in ISO/CEN.
1. Scope
1.1 This test method describes the measurement of the resistance to mechanical penetration of sanitary tissue papers. Application to other paper types is possible but is not covered here.
