Significance and Use
This test method distinguishes magnesium sulfate from other water soluble non-tanning salts found in leather.
1. Scope
1.1 This test method covers quantitatively determining the magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) in leather.
1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
