1.1 This consumer product specification covers flexible reinforced hose made from rubber or rubber-like materials used on portable household electric dishwashers and portable and permanently connected laundry equipment connected to the household water supply, where the hose is exposed to flow pressures and static pressures of the water supply.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
