This test method provides for the determination of the relative durability of factory-primed wood and wood-based substrates with representative finish coats when exposed to the weather.
Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D01 on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials, and Applications, this test method was withdrawn in December 2004 in accordance with section 10.6.3.1 of the Regulations Governing ASTM Technical Committees, which requires that standards shall be updated by the end of the eighth year since the last approval date.
1.1 This test method provides for the determination of the relative durability and compatibility of factory-primed wood and wood-based substrates with representative finish coats when exposed to the weather.
