This test method pertains to the determination of total chlorine content in a coal sample.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D05 on Coal and Coke, this test method was withdrawn in October 2008. This test method is being withdrawn with no replacement because the limits of applicability are not well defined.


1. Scope

1.1 This test method pertains to the determination of total chlorine content in a coal sample.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are regarded as the standard. The values shown in parentheses are for information only.

1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
