This specification covers general requirements for prestressed concrete poles statically cast for use as structural supports for lights, distribution, transmission, and dead end poles.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee C27 on Precast Concrete Products, this specification was withdrawn in January 2011 in accordance with section 10.5.3.1 of the Regulations Governing ASTM Technical Committees, which requires that standards shall be updated by the end of the eighth year since the last approval date.
