1.1 Esta especificación corresponde a cementos hidráulicos mezclados para aplicaciones generales y especiales, utilizando escoria, puzolana, piedra caliza o alguna combinación de estos materiales, con cemento portland o clínker de cemento portland o escoria con cal.
NOTA 1—Esta especificación prescribe ingredientes y dosificaciones, con algunos requisitos de desempeño mientras que la especificación de desempeño C1157 es una especificación de cemento hidráulico en la cual solo los criterios de desempeño gobiernan los productos y su aceptación.
1.2 Los valores dados ya sea en unidades SI o unidades pulgada-libra son considerados separadamente como los estándares.
