1. Scope
1.1 This specification covers zinc-aluminum (za) alloy foundry and pressure die castings. Three alloy compositions are specified, designated as follows: UNS A Common Z35636 ZA-8 Z35631 ZA-12 Z35841 ZA-27 A See Table 1, footnote C. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are the standard. The SI values in parentheses are for information only.
